 |
|

|
Anil

Fatema Nazerali came from Kenya to attend Diploma in Travel and Tourism and VA-1
Fares and E-ticketing course.... |
|
Fatema, like A.Munisamy wants to make a career in the field of Travel and Tourism and
has diverse interests. Originally she enrolled for Diploma in Compact Travel and
Tourism along with CRS from VIASINC, USA and Fares & E-ticketing (VA-1) from
VIRGIN ATLANTIC, U.K. After a few weeks she enrolled at RBCS GROUP for the
following additional programmes Interior Decoration from IMFAA (RBCS GROUP);
Diploma in Beauty from SCHNELL HANS (RBCS GROUP) and IATA/UFTAA Consultant
Course Training at IHCTM. Here is what Fatema has to say…. |
|
 |
|
The teachers and staff are helpful and they assist me whenever I have any problems. I have
found the courses offered by RBCS GROUP to be challenging and learning has been an
enjoyable experience and I am certain that the foundation I have received will be helpful for
me in the future. Fatema will return back to Kenya end of this year after completing her training and
appearing for the IATA/UFTAA Consultant examination in September 2004. At the time of

FROM TURKEY |
|
|
|
Umit Çakir from Bursa, Turkey was the most adventurous of them all. Barely 26, this
was probably the first time he was going outside Turkey and he decided to travel to
India by road to pursue a career in the Airline and Tourism Industry. |
|
He initially enrolled for the IATA/UFTAA Foundation Course and like Fatema, he experienced
quality training and now has also enrolled for IATA/FIATA Cargo Introductory and
Dangerous Goods qualifications with IHCTM.
Umit was in touch with IHCTM Director Subhash Motwani thru e-mail since 2003
and finally in 2004 he decided to travel to India to explore opportunities in Airline
Industry. After starting his training, he was keen on pursuing Cargo courses too
and as his visa is valid until October 2004, he decided to enroll for the
IATA/FIATA Dangerous Goods examination in October from Mumbai and give his Cargo
Introductory exam in April 2005 in Turkey. Umit was glad to know that IATA is not
only globally recognized but also has Local Co-ordinator who conduct exam in
Turkey even though currently there are no IATA/FIATA authorized training
centres in Turkey. |
|
 |
|
Umit's journey to India has been extremely exciting and
adventurous and we have published his first hand experience of travelling to
India by road starting from Bursa into Iran, Pakistan and finally into India in the
August 2004 issue of Opportunities Today - the career monthly published by
RBCS group since 1971.
We are sure through these inspiring stories career aspirants will realize that for
quality training it is worth travelling across boundaries. If Umit can travel form
Turkey , many careers aspirants within India can avail of quality training at RBCS
GROUP rather than availing of inferion training at a franchise centre or any
institute. RBCS GROUP, though in training since 50 years do not run any franchise
centres as RBCS GROUP believes in providing quality training for global success.

Subject: Hi there
Hi Subhash, |
|
Its been a while since we connected. Have been checking you web site and saw my name there.
I thought I should let you know that I have now moved up the ladder, as in promoted.
I am now designated as as "OPERATIONS SERVICES CONTROLLER" with the OPERATIONS SERVICES
DEPARTMENT with DNATA. Just to give you a clear picture of what I do now ......I am one of four Controllers and we are available 24/7 on a shift basis. We have the responsibility of heading a team of over 400 staff of our department which includes Aircraft Dispatchers, Load controllers, Documents section.
Our team of dispatchers have the responsibility of releasing an aircraft at Dubai airport only when they are one
hundred percent sure it is SAFE. They control all activities around the aircraft and deal with all areas to ensure that we
as DNATA provide the required level of service. Our teams have various units and their staffworking under them,
involved with the handling of an aircraft. |
|
 |
|
In short our dispatchers are the flight managers and make sure that every aircraft gets the required handling as per the Service Level Agreements with the Operators. If there is something to be done around an aircraft the dispatcher gets it going. SAFETY IS OUR FOREMOST PRIORITY.
Do let me know if you are passing by Dubai. I should be in BOM in the first week of JUNE. There is lots to tell you on how Dubai Airport functions and has been growing. Like I say to all my colleagues : The only thing constant is Change. If we do not adapt to change we fade away. Learning is the life line of change.
