In 2004 IHCTM had pioneered the
Golden Airline & Travel Plan. In 2008 we updated the curriculum to
meet the current demands of the industry, thus making it more tourism and
airline-centric. GAT (now known as GOLDEN AIRLINE & TOURISM) Career Plan
will continue to be a 2-year programme with additional upgrades to further
benefit the participants.
This unique course is conceived by Subhash Motwani, Director of IHCTM,
holder of 22 IATA qualifications and Director of Compact Travels Pvt. Ltd.

The 4
Unmatched Benefits of GAT: |
|
Eligibility: Pre-requisites include graduation with fluency in
English and strong communication skills. In exceptional cases, persons
with Higher Secondary but pursuing graduation maybe considered. Admission
is confirmed only after passing an entrance test and interview with the
Course Director. As admission to GAT is limited to 25 participants,
aspirants are advised to complete the formalities at their earliest.
Duration: GAT comprises of 2 phases of 1 year each.

PHASE 1
INTRODUCTION TO THE
INDUSTRY |

1. A. Diploma in COMPACT TRAVEL &
TOURISM
B. CRS in Amadeus OR Galileo * from VIASINC, USA
C. Fares & E-Ticketing (VA-1) from VIRGIN ATLANTIC, U.K
OR
A. IATA/UFTAA Foundation
2. Foreign language - Conversational for beginners
(Choice of languages : Arabic, French, German, Italian or Spanish)
3. DIPLOMA in PEPCO (Power Personality, Effectiveness
Techniques, Presentation Plus, Communication Skills and Opportunities
for Growth)
4. 6 months internship in a travel agency / tour company with
a minimum stipend of Rs.5000 p.m. (earn back Rs.30000)
5. Travel Journalism
Upto 6 Qualifications + 6 Months

FEES FOR PHASE 1:
Rs. 92500/- Enrol Before 22nd May
2010 Rs. 65500
-OR- Rs. 25000 on enrolment and Rs. 9000 x 5
monthly instalments (i.e. Rs.

OPPORTUNITY TO EARN DURING PHASE 1: During Phase 1, you are
provided with a 6-month internship and training in customer service,
marketing, travel and tourism with a minimum stipend of Rs. 5000 p.m. You
accordingly earn Rs. 30000 back, and you save Rs.

FOR ADMISSION INTO PHASE 2, you
are required to:
- Successfully complete all projects and pass all examinations.
- Complete a minimum 6 months full-time internship during Phase 1.
- Eligibility: IATA / UFTAA Foundation Level or equivalent and minimum 6 months travel industry experience.

HIGHER MANAGEMENT |

Qualifications include:
Duration: 1 year |
1. IATA / UFTAA Management Level
2. IATA / UFTAA Senior Management Level
3. Foreign trip worth Rs.45000 on twin sharing basis
4. One year internship with a minimum stipend of Rs. 8000 p.m. X 6
= Rs. 48000
Management Level Qualification + 6 Months Internship with
Earn Back of Rs. 48000 + Foreign Trip worth Rs. 45000 |

FEES FOR PHASE 2: Rs. 98000. Enrol Before 22nd May 2010 Rs. 89000/- .
OR - Rs. 31000 on enrolment plus Rs.13000 x 8 monthly instalments thereafter
(i.e. Rs. 135000).
