II : Speedwriting(ABC)
Shorthand
Speedwriting Shorthand was developed in the 1920's and today is practiced in over 30 countries in 7 different languages. It is internationally acclaimed and recognized and has become more popular than the traditional Pitman shorthand as it is faster to learn and easier to transcribe. In mere 10 days you can learn to transcribe and in a further 4 to 6 weeks you can reach twice the normal speed of writing. Further practice can help you attain a speed of over 100wpm. On the other hand, Pitman Shorthand can take you as long as 8 to 10 months to get a speed of 90 to 100 wpm. Even secretaries prefer to take notes in ABC shorthand, as it is easier to transcribe even after days unlike Pitman Shorthand. From day one of the course you can start taking dictations and the accuracy level is also higher.
