Confusion is the common state of mind which every person in life experiences - be it a student, teacher, parent, officegoer, boss or even the Prime Minister and the President of a country!
Confusion is caused through uncertainty and ambiguity resulting from lack of knowledge or having one's pre-conceived notions and fears. Many times we do not know how to reach a place and we stay confused! The cause is lack of knowledge or direction. So all we need is to ask someone who knows and lo! the confusion vanishes! The darkness of uncertainty is conquered through light of knowledge.

That's why it is said: “ Seek and ye shall find”. So each person should be a committed seeker of knowledge through information or even learning.
Lots of office workers use the common phrase,” I don't know”. This gets stuck with them as a habit and to avoid effort of learning or knowing they remain an ignorant lot. Paradoxically, sometimes alert juniors or peons are more knowledgeable! So the ambitious at heart should make the right beginning by putting their head “more” and “more” to getting information and even learning a few ropes or techniques of doing more tasks and doing them better too! It is the necessity of “IT age” - the age of information technology - to be not only up-to-date but even ahead in information and for higher achievements one should use creativity which is “superior” technology. Thus the great tool to conquer confusion is to know more, know more and know more and that's what will help one grow higher!

The self-created confusion is the most common form of confusion. We have our own ideas, presumptions, prejudices about any matter, person or people. So we restrain our mind from thinking beyond or even exploring reality. Thus we get stuck with our own notions and this leads to a confused state of mind leading to inaction or wrong action! One should grow above one's small thinking and use higher thinking. In offices too or even at home people should respect new ways, new ideas and new methods instead of putting a barrier. For change is the greatest help tool, stop using: “but we always used to do this way!” Remember beyond this “old” way is a “new” way which is the only way to growth. Stop getting stuck-up with your “own” habituated practices, though they look easier. Go for new ideas and new ways! Remember your path to progress is up-hill and requires efforts. Having an open mind and acceptance of new ideas leads to path of progress and helps to conquer confusion.
