Brazil is very popular in India for its
Pele, Ronaldo and Ronaldi–hos. Besides being a world class football nation, what does Brazil have to offer the Indian traveller who is going all out to explore and find out about new destinations?
Brazil is the fifth largest country in the world and the biggest in the southern hemisphere. The Brazilians started speaking Portuguese in the early 1500s and is the mother tongues for over 170 million Brazilians who live in this country which extends more than 8500000 square kilometers. From India although we do not have many travellers due to the distance, I am sure that there is lot of potential and scope for people to visit Brazil and they can travel from either South Africa or from Europe.

They can find convenient connections from Capetown or Johannesburg as well as from Lisbon or Madrid. From Johannesburg you have flights to Sao Paulo which takes around 10 hours and from Lisbon you can reach Salvador in about 8 hours or from Madrid in 9 hours. Brazil has a lot to offer all year round. We enjoy tropical weather 365 days of the year and besides football, Brazil is world famous for its carnival especially the Carnaval (as it is called in Brazil) held in Rio and is a week long event and a must visit attraction for the ardent traveller.
Brazil is also home to the exciting Formula 1 Racing, the beautiful white sandy beaches with a very long coast line, with Rio de Janeiro being a visitor's delight. Known as the marvellous city, Rio has it all - from fine beaches, to intense cultural life, haute cuisine, miles of window shopping and more.
