7 Beauty Sinsfc

Committing any one of these makeup sins can jeopardize your looks and sentence you to beauty limbo. Luckily, they're a cinch to correct by either changing your makeup- or the way you apply it. Choose lipsticks, foundations, and eye shadows that are not only lightweight and easily blendable, but long lasting. They make correct application child's play.

From Sins to Virtue

1. Translucent Foundation - Smoothing foundation over face and jawline with a damp sponge helps prevent heavy application. For even sheerer coverage, experiment with liquid makeup.

2. Natural Contouring - Instead of using dark powder to contour, try a slightly deeper shade of blush just under cheekbones. Blend edges well.

3. Chic Cheeks - Blend away apple cheeks by sweeping blush over the centre of your cheeks back towards your hairline, then down, away from your cheekbone.

4. Bright Eyes - Forgo smudges by leaving lower lash area clean, skipping both mascara and dark shadow.

5. Defined Lashes - Applying two or three thin coats of mascara, rather than one thick one, and rolling the wand as it comes through lashes helps avoid clumping.

6. What Circles ? - White circles will be a sin of the past if you match undereye concealer to your foundation. Try concealer and matching foundation to fit every skin tone.

7. Invisible Liner - Avoid a line of demarcation by marching lip pencil to your lipstick and lining lips after applying lipstick.
