31 years young Hamid came to Mumbai all the way from Vaniyam Badi - a town well known for tranneries in Vellore in Tamil Nadu. He came on recommendation of his brother to Mumbai to change his business from leather to fashion garments.

His town is quite upmarket. However, leather business has lots of financial hazards. So he thought of choosing a creative activity, where he could use his background experience and come up in life. He chose fashion designing with two fold objectives. Firstly to make it his new vocation, secondly to use the knowledge to create such garments which are not "scanty" like western but suiting our culture of dignity in dressing with attractiveness of modern fashion.

Much married man and father of two, he ventured in career turnaround. So the most important decision would be to choose the right place for learning. On his research of various institutes he narrowed his choice to "IMFAA" the achievers choice - an associate of RBCS group. He was further inspired when he met the head of department for personal counselling. This gave him confidence to go ahead with full steam. Now that he has acquired sufficient market intelligence and business know-how, he has left Mumbai to be back home and start his own venture there.

OT is proud of his 'Columbus' spirit to probe unknown territories and make it happen. His story should inspire learners of any age to go ahead and learn new things to enrich their mind and extend the avenues of opportunities, for as rightly it is said only the brave deserve the best and like all winners they do the same things, but with a different approach.
