L.O.C generally stands for “line of control” but now a TV serial is titled as L.O.C standing for “ Life out of control”- quite humorous but very much significant in modern times.
We look around and see people and their life, life style, work pace and even their communication. We find the pace is fast like that of a car zooming at high speed. Driver of such a car generally loses control and victims are couple of innocent unwary people. Life, too, when out of control due to modern hectic pace takes its toll. The first victim is person himself as he loses his cool and is always under tension.

He wants to fill more in his day than what is possible and as rightly seen haste results in waste adding to confusion and chaos. The things start going wrong taking more time than would have been taken by doing them at right pace and rightly.
Our communication is the next casualty. The hurry of life leaves no time for adding thoughts to words, with the result one has many a time to eat one's word and feel awkward and even humiliated. Again the broken relationships so caused are irreparable or may take too long to repair.

The sensible solution is to turn “life out of control” into “life at moderate pace” by using L.O.C- the line of control.
One should determine the amount of work that can be done right during particular hour, day or even a week. So one should choose the tasks that need to be done first. The “line of control” of prioritizing and planning will do a lot of good. Of course delegating or taking help of others for simpler jobs can enhance the amount of work accomplished.

One should keep time for oneself to keep fit and fine thus helping oneself to have a fresh mind for efficient performance. So “line of control” drawn in matter of food, rest and exercise goes long way in matter of fitness of body & mind.
Saving time is the easiest way of getting more time. Save time on avoidable visits and cutdown time spent on visitors. All this is easier done than said, it needs only determination and observing the present pattern for modifying and monitoring. Use “line of control” here too!

So let us start using one L.O.C - the “line of control” to be protected against the other L.O.C - the life without control - which most of us find ourselves for most of the time, in today’s life!
