To be successful in life, one has to understand ones drawbacks and make sincere efforts to overcome it. A teacher by profession, I used to feel quite ashamed of my handwriting, especially on the blackboard. I was advised by many to join Calligraphy class to improve my handwriting. When I came to Mumbai from Panchgani, my parents enrolled me in Radio Bhuvan, Mahim. My Teacher who taught me Calligraphy was quick to spot my problems and in a very friendly manner guided me to do better. He reviewed my practice and as a parent teaches a child to walk without getting frightened, he guided me at every step to excel in this art. This art has helped me to understand myself better and in turn I will now be able to guide my students to write better.
