Power Performance for Quality and Success

Many work but few succeed and fewer grow ! This statement becomes obvious when we look around and find multitude of mediocres lacking quality and class in their performance - just functional in their role and “tolerable” in the job.The “excellence factor” is missing and so is the quality and satisfaction. The situation in our school or college education is no better. Majority of teachers and professors barring the exceptions as well as almost all the students - excepting the toppers - are just managing to do what they are doing. Hence it is imperative that performance culture should be inculcated in the youth right from early age and carried forward from education to career life for bringing Quality and Success.

Performance culture enriches life bringing right pace and peace making every moment pleasant and happy. In fact the performance culture can be introduced by parents while bringing up the children. Many parents fail to find time due to a hectic life style whether its work or even socializing. But time has to be taken out for what is most crucial for your child's future.

Here are a few easy techniques for all. May be some of you already know them but by and large good practices are easily kept aside in whirlpool of activities and we let the things happen being drifted throughout the day. Reading helps refreshing our mind to add power to our performance.
The foundation of power performance is “focus” for action. By specifying “objective” for every activity we get the “focus”. For example the “right” objective of attending a class or a course should be “learning” and “educating” or “training” oneself and not just “passing an exam”. Likewise the right objective of working in an organisation should be to do the right job at the right time and the right way to get results, not just to get a monthly pay packet. Having an objective adds sense of commitment and quality.

After having a clear objective one should make an “outline” of action for one's day to day tasks, thus leading oneself towards fulfillment of one's “objectives”. This “outline” serves as a “road-map” for proper performance. Remember your “forehead” is not a computer monitor nor you can see it. So don't fool yourself by thinking you know what you've to do and by when and how. JUST PUT IT DOWN ON PAPER else you'll make an incompetent intelligent “FOOL” of yourself. Look out and you will find many are already in this situation due to the laziness of jotting down. The greatest advantage of “written” action plan with “time” factor is that you can monitor your activities and modify them too!

By following this process you're in “total command” and can work within your time frame thus adding orderliness in your life and having time for your family and self too. Thus you achieve “Quality and Success” in life through planned “power performance”. Isn't it simple? However, it will be hard until you make a beginning!!

(By equipping yourself with special techniques for power performance you'll be favouring no one but yourself!
