Opportunities Today :- August 2006 Issue

Jocelyn Kouassi

Young Jocelyn came to India from Abidjan, Ivory Coast - West Africa way back in 2002. She went to Bangalore to do her 3 years course in Business Management which she successfully completed in 2005. She was quite impressed with the education in India and enjoyed being in India.

She had a burning desire to enter the Airlines. So she was on the look out for a good course which would go beyond just qualification and train her in practical aspects. What better place to hunt for than the Internet! On surfing, she came across the website www.rbcsgroup.com site and to her joy she discovered IHCTM is the place which would help her with good training as well as a qualification. Surprisingly she thought the institution was in USA but her friend told her it was right here in India in Mumbai.

She spoke on the phone with the Director of IHCTM - Subhash Motwani and she was confident of making it good. She joined “Best of 5 package” where she completed 2 levels of fares and ticketing from Virgin Atlantic, UK (VA-1 and VA-2). She learnt all about “Travel Agency Operations” and CRS from VIASINC, USA.

She was happy to benefit from simple easy learning methodology and went through hands-on training and gain confidence as well as proficiency. She is proud of her achievement as she passed all her exams with high percentage (more than 90%). She will be back home by August 2006 to take up a good job and after some experience she will once again take a break for her MBA..

Simple, smart, sweet, petite Jocelyn is a diligent and intelligent young lass who came all the way to India to acquire vocational qualification for a good break. She is polite, soft-spoken, modest and quick at understanding people. She has these sterling qualities of achievers.

Her hobbies are cooking, making friends, listening to music and of course singing too. She is fond of good clothes and likes to look elegant, so she takes care of her personal appearance like any young ambitious. OT wishes her all the best in her career and we are confident she will make her mark in the airline industry. Her story should inspire our youngsters to follow her footsteps.
