Ischaemic heart disease means damages to heart
muscle occur when heart muscle is deprived of a
vital chemical usually the oxygen necessary to
form energy. Most common cause is blockage of a
coronary blood vessel which results in
`myocardial infarction' which is the medical
name for a heart attack. Pain of Angina pectoris
is less severe. |
