Talent and Genius

There was a young man who was ambitious and desirous of taking admission for the MBA course in the best university. He was smart enough to get through the written test and was to appear for a personal interview. On taking the interview, the interviewer found this young man to be bright since he could answer all the questions correctly. This made him impatient and he decided to corner the young man. “Tell me your choice, he asked. “I shall either ask you ten easy questions or One real difficult question. Think well before you make up your mind”.

The Young man thought for a while and said “My choice is ONE real difficult question”.

“Well good luck to you then, you have made your choice !” and he asked the young man a question. “What comes first day or
night?”

The Young man was confused at first, but he thought for a while, and said, “It’s day sir!”
“How???????” Asked the surprised interviewer. “Sorry sir?” said the Young man “You promised me that you will not ask me a second difficult question!”
This impressed the interviewer and the young man's admission for the course was secured. Doing easily what others find difficult is “Talent” But, handling difficult situations in a cool calm way, with intelligence is “Genius”
