Quite often, if not always, we
fail to achieve what we desire. This becomes disheartening
especially when things are done in a scientific way or as they
say, by setting goals, making plans and even putting
sufficient efforts. Take the example of students in college -
especially the ambitious ones who want to become high
achievers! Inspite of an elaborate “study plan” they fail to
get the desirable score. |

|
|
Well,
here is a simple analysis for an easy solution. |
|
|
|
Every
plan has action steps, preparation for getting a high
score, The study plan includes allocation of time for
each subject with separate time alloted for practicing
papers. Invariably the time for solving papers is
missed out, leading to lack of confidence caused
through fear of the unknown question paper pattern.
This is a small gap causing grave consequences. So
while preparing a study plan, this step should not be
forgotten, nor allocation of time for practice can be
ignored. |

Taking
a cue from this simple example we must add one more
step in our planning - that is periodic observation
for review to modify the action for damage control.
This is the “failure-prevention” step. It will help us
to be in command of our action, suitably modifying it.
This bridges the gap that causes the failure. So
remember, activity review is the “failure warding off”
tool that bridges the gap ensuring success and keeping
away the failure. So every time in your ambitious
plan, keep provision for periodic review and outcome
is obvious - the unfailing success. |
