Why Quit Cigarette Smoking/Tobacco?

Cigarette smoking / tobacco chewing is one of the most important causes of heart disease. Every single cigarette / tobacco chewing damages your heart further, damaging the lining of the arteries in your heart, causing the blocks to form easily, further decreasing the blood flow.

Tobacco chewing is as harmful as cigarette smoking.

People, who quit smoking, live longer than those who continue to smoke.

Quitting smoking reduces :
• the risk of repeat heart attacks,
• the risk of death from heart diseases,
• the frequency and severity of your chest pain almost immediately, if you already have a heart disease,
• the risk of lung cancer, chronic lung diseases, respiratory diseases, strokes and many other cancers.

Quitting smoking also improves the sexual functions, fitness and endurance.

Because smoking is addictive, it is hard to stop smoking.

On stopping smoking, withdrawal symptoms may occur in the form of anxiety, irritability, frustration, anger and difficulty in concentration and restlessness.

The urge to restart smoking causes many ex-smokers to go through the process of quitting several times before becoming long-term quitters.

However, quitting smoking is not so difficult either, only if you decide to do it.

Yes! You too can and should quit smoking, NOW
