Ambition is the common trait of the present
generation. Each one wants to reach the top, earn the
most and enjoy the maximum. All this is great. A dream
is the stepping stone to achievement but sadly enough
everyone who dreams, does not accomplish. What is the
reason? The truth is dreams excite, so people dream,
but does the mere excitement make the dream come true?
Much more is needed. What is the “more” which when
missing makes dreams remain mere desires or wishful
thinking? Well dreams give energy. All it requires is
harnessing this energy to prepare realistic plans and
follow the plans to achieve step by step one's
cherished objective.
First step to failure starts with incomplete plan or
even absence of plan. We are aware that all the great
monuments and wonder structures are result of
elaborate planning. So every dream must have a sound
plan to move ahead.
Next to planning comes the detailed process or steps
for achievement. While jotting down these steps, we
come to know what other ingredients or help or even
learning is required to go ahead smoothly towards our
goal. Sufficient arrangements should be done for such
vital components even before starting one's pursuit of
goal.
The advantage of writing elaborate action steps would
make one prepare well before moving ahead. Without
such meticulous outline of action one is bound to have
interruptions, halts and jerks in one's progress
entailing avoidable delay and undue losses which can
turn the easy things into hardships, more so as one is
unprepared in the absence of proper outline of action.
Even though all advance thinking and preparations are
done for a project or a goal, one can encounter
unforeseen, may be uncontrollable interruptions or
hurdles. Who can predict an earthquake, a flood, heavy
rainfall, a power failure or even a transport
breakdown, yet one can be strong enough to sail
through these easily.
Thus in order to achieve one's dream the safest course
would be to start with a plan, prepare for the steps
involved, learn what is new in the process and even
arrange for help when required. Through such
systematic approach when one follows the dream it
turns into reality bringing joy and happiness of
achieving. So let's be realistic, pragmatic and
perseverant to follow our dreams turning them into
happy achievement! |
