Seven  Ways to Study in Spain

 

 Universidad Autonoma de Madrid

Universidad Autonoma de Madrid, founded in 1968, offers education to 36000 students. The University has five main departments: Science; Political Science; Economics; Law; and Philosophy. In addition to these, it has administrative services; a sports centre; the Institute of Educational Sciences, Music and Languages; and a primary school.

 Universidad Autonoma de Barcelona

Universidad Autònoma de Barcelona, founded in 1968, is among the largest universities in Spain with more than 50000 students. The University offers 183 masters degrees and 88 doctoral programmes. More than 2000 foreign students are currently pursuing their studies at its various campuses.

 

 Universidad Pompeu Fabra

Universidad Pompeu Fabra, founded in 1990 in Barcelona, ranks high particularly in the disciplines of Business, Political Science, Economics and Law. It is a modern University providing high-quality service based on innovation. The University, ranked third highest in Spain, is primarily financed by the European Union, Spanish and Catalan governments, and the Barcelona Council.

 

 Universidad Complutense de Madrid

Universidad Complutense de Madrid, founded in 1293, is the largest University in Spain. A premiere University with a rich past, it is located on the sprawling Ciudad Universitaria district of Madrid. The campus buildings include institutes, private centres, hospitals, offices, sports facilities and computer centres. Currently, the University teaches approximately 5000 foreign students.

 

 Universidad Publica de Navarra

Universidad Publica de Navarra, founded in 1952 in Pamplona, has four campuses throughout Spain, and offers 27 official undergraduate degree programmes and more than 300 graduate programmes. Closely linked with Opus Dei, a personal Prelature of the Catholic Church, the University offers education to approximately 10000 students in its undergraduate programmes and 4600 in its graduate programmes. The University of Navarra Hospital employs over 2000 qualified professionals and cares for more than 100000 patients annually.

 
 Universidad de Malaga

Universidad de Malaga is a cultural and academic magnet of the Malaga province in southern Spain. The University is popular with international students from around the world, and more than 15 percent of its 40000 students come from outside of Spain. Apart from the usual choices of Humanities, Sciences, and Social Sciences, the University also offers International Law, Prehistory, Medieval Sciences, Advertising, Art History, Public Relations, and Education.

 
 Universidad de Murcia

Universidad de Murcia is the largest educational institution in the region of Murcia, providing education to more than 31500 students. Courses on Fine Arts, Biology, Documentation Science, Industrial Sciences, Economics and Business, Management Science, Law, Education, Philosophy, Computer Sciences, Arts, Mathematics, Medicine, Psychology, Chemistry, Veterinary Science, Nursing, Tourism and Social Work can be undertaken at the Universidad de Murcia. Language courses are also offered including Spanish as a foreign language.
