Performance Enhancement and the Hurdles Along the Way Performance brings achievement – whether slower, faster or even not at all. Enhanced performance is the key to higher and quicker achievement. So let's see the factors affecting performance. Interestingly, these factors are already within oneself. Knowing and utilizing these factors helps managing towards better performance.

The first factor is energy – the capacity to work or perform. Managing the energy level is the key to enhanced performance. Energy depends on healthcare. Better food habits give higher levels of energy. Besides the physical aspect, the mind is a great manipulator of energy management. Let's see the mind aspects.

 

A positive mindset boosts performance whereas negativity drains the capacity to achieve and diminishes one's output. Environment affects the mindset, but its effect can be controlled through one's neutral outlook or positive attitude and help focus one's efforts – thereby enhancing the performance.
The techniques or technology of doing the right job in the right way also contributes greatly to performance, so one should continue to learn and upgrade one's technological aspect.

Involvement and undivided attention is a great performance booster. In this area, one's obliging spirit or socializing element is a great damager. To give full concentration, one should be curt or tactful to ward off any intrusion, of course barring emergency demands.All above points are so easy and may be known too. But the decisive factor is how many of us practise these in totality. Knowledge itself is not power; it is the utilization of knowledge that empowers us. These are practical points to manage performance for achievement – for the young and not so young too! So keep on enhancing performance without letting it be diminished by the “casual” you or your dear or not so dear intruders.
