IHCTM (Institute of Hotel, Cargo and Tourism Management) has been the pioneer of Travel and Tourism, Air Cargo 

and Courier as well as Airline Management programmes in India. The first ever workshop in Travel and Tourism as 

well as Hotel Management  was conducted way  back in 1971 . Since then IHCTM has grown to be one of the

an allied member of TAAI (Travel Agents Association of India), TAFI (Travel Agents Federation of India), IAAI (IATA

International Programmes at IHCTM

IHCTM has the unique distinction of being the first authorised training centre around the world to be authorised to 

conduct 6 IATA qualifications comprising of 3 IATA/UFTAA and 3 IATA/FIATA qualifications. In 1998, IHCTM was 

the first approved centre in India to offer the International Tourism qualifications from City & Guilds, U.K. and the 

CRS/GDS programmes from VIASINC, USA. IHCTM also conducts “TRIO” packages which qualifies airline and 

travel aspirants in three international qualifications within a span of a year. The TRIO qualifications are extremely 

valuable for those looking for employment opportunities abroad or even for those who wish to immigrate. 

IHCTM has also been authorized to offer the Fares and Ticketing courses from Virgin Atlantic, U.K. and in 2008 

IHCTM launched TBM (Tourism Business Management) which prepares tourism aspirants to be entrepreneurs 

in the tourism industry.
